Sign-up now to carve one of the 200 pumpkins before the event. Then bring your assigned pumpkin(s) to be lit on 10/30 in Thompson Plaza in memory of the victims of gun violence last year.

Project FlashLIGHT is looking to collaborate with existing local non-profits and community organizations that would like to support this event through any of the following: donation for space rental fee, promotion of the event, collecting 200 sign-ups to create the memorial pumpkins, and volunteer resources to help with setup and clean up.
If you or your organization are interested in getting involved, or would like more information, please contact the Aislinn Dewey, the project organizer.
Current partners include: Human Thread, Woman Made Gallery, Kids Off the Block, Grace Productions, Ceasefire Chicago and Illinois Council for Handgun violence.
Want to help bring this project to life? Any donations that could help the event organizer cover the costs for this 100% non-profit memorial are greatly appreciated. Costs include: city permit fee, police hire for event, and pumpkin disposal at the event conclusion.
